You may experience some minor issues in this jewelry display stand upon delivery: dings, rubbed off areas of paint, broken or missing parts, a mess of styrofoam and a faint varnish smell. Yet the Powell Jewelry Armoire is does receive high marks and is easy to put together. To touch up areas of rubbed off paint you can use an ebony paint pencil. Clean-up works with a lint brush in the interior and a soft cloth on the exterior. The armoire is a bit top heavy on carpet but there's a chain on the back to attach to a wall. Two drawers are sectioned, the rest are not. This armoire provides moderate jewelry storage.

This jewelry organizer is held closed with magnets - some people say the magnets are really strong, others say not strong enough. If door closure is a problem your jewelry might be the issue (large hoop earrings can prevent door from closing properly). If this is the case, you can rearrange your earrings or perhaps install a latch. This jewelry armoire organizer comes in several colors: black, cherry, white and oak. Bolt to the wall, if necessary. The great thing about it is it doesn't take up any floor space and it holds a lot of jewelry. Note: It might not be adequate storage for cuffs or bracelets.

The Cheval Mirror comes in two colors: a merlot with rich mahogany undertones and a dark cherry. Some issues: the armoire doesn't accommodate necklaces more than 18" though you can add additional hooks; you may have difficulty getting the mirror to stay tilted; the left side of the cabinet does not lock and earring storage might be lacking if you hoard earrings like I do.
